Slovene Red Cross Sends Humanitarian Aid to Serbia

Ljubljana, 20 September - The Slovene Red Cross (RKS) will prepare a shipment of humanitarian aid with medicine, medical supplies, teaching aids and clothes for the most needy in Serbia. This was agreed following Wednesday's visit of the president of the Serbian community in Slovenia Mirjana Simic at the RKS Secretary General Mirko Jelenic. Simic briefed Jelenic on the activities of the society, which associates over 300 members, and is very active in collecting aid for the most needy in Serbia, where there is great shortage of all sorts of medicine and medical supplies, RKS reported on Wednesday.
