Slovene Negotiators Meet Lombardero

Ljubljana, 20 September - Slovenia's core negotiating team led by Janez Potocnik, officials from several ministries and working groups in charge of drafting Slovenia's position papers on EU, on Wednesday met with Jaime Garcia Lombardero, the European Commission official responsible for Slovenia. Lombardero arrived in Slovenia for a two-day working visit to review, together with Slovene officials, full-membership negotiations, focussing on key problems and open issues regarding individual chapters of legislation.
