Bus and Lorry Drivers to Stage Go-Slow Protest on Thursday

Ljubljana, 20 September - Representatives of the Association for Transportation and Communication at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce announced to stage a "go-slow" protest on all Slovene roads between 2 and 3 P.M. on Thursday. This is a response to recent government's negotiations with bus and lorry drivers, where the economic and trade chambers as legal representatives of the drivers were excluded from negotiations. As a consequence, only part of problems faced by drivers were discussed, but not the difficult situation in the public transport of passengers, was pointed out by the Association at a news conference on Wednesday.
