36-Percent Increase in the Number of Clandestine Immigrants in the First Eight Months

Ljubljana, 22 September - Police has dealt with 18,147 illegal crossings of Slovene border in the first eight months of 2000, which is a 36-percent increase over the same period in 1999, when 13,376 foreign citizens were apprehended.
