Nobel Laurate for Physics James W. Cronin Praises Co-operation With Slovene Scientists

Ljubljana, 22 September - Nobel Laureate for Physics James W. Cronin from the University of Chicago, accompanied by his host Danilo Zavrtanik from the Politechnic in Nova Gorica ( western Slovenia), was received by Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik on Friday. Upon this occasion Cronin, a distinguished expert on astroparticle physics, was given honorary doctorate, the Slovene Parliament reported.
