Slovene Foreign Ministry Advises against Travelling to the FRY

Ljubljana, 22 September - The Slovene Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned all citizens that intend to travel to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on Sunday, when federal parliamentary and presidential elections will be held there, that they might face traffic and other inconvenience on roads. The Ministry advised them to postpone their journey to the region to a later date, if possible. Those who will be in the FRY during the elections should avoid going close to border regions or military facilities, the Slovene Foreign Ministry stressed in a press release on Friday.
