Valant Finishes Appearance in First Series of Final

Sydney, 24 September - Slovenia's Anja Valant finished her appearance in the Olympic triple jump competition in the first series of jumps in the final. Valant jumped 13.59 m in her third attempt of the first series but this was not enough to allow her to move into the second series of the finals.
