Slovene Women's Sailing Team Places 17th at the Olympics

Sydney, 28 September - Slovene women's sailing team Janja Orel and Klara Maucec placed 17th in the sailing competition (470 two-handed dinghy) at the 2000 Olympics. The Slovene team finished 16 in the final race, and thus failed to improve their former placing. The gold medal went to the Australian team Jenny Armstrong and Belinda Stowell, who also won the last race.
