October Foreign Trade Gap almost Twice as High as September's

Ljubljana, 11 December - Slovenia exported US$ 726.82 million and imported US$ 868.36 million worth of goods in October 2000. The trade deficit amounted to US$ 100.53 million and the coverage of imports by exports reached 88.4 percent. Compared to October 1999 exports decreased by three percent and imports by 1.8 percent, says the National Statistical Office.
