Historian Pirjevec Wonders about the Fate of a Report on Slovene-Italian Relations

Ljubljana, 12 December - Historian Dr Joze Pirjevec on Tuesday warned of the "uncertain fate" of the Report on the Slovene-Italian Relations between 1880 and 1956. The final version of the 30-page document, which took the Slovene-Italian historical and cultural commission almost seven years to complete, was signed on 25 July by the commission's co-chairmen Milica Kacin Wohinz and Girgio Conetti. The document has "got stuck" at the Italian Foreign Ministry, Pirjevec said and called on Slovenia's Foreign Ministry to insist on the publication of the report.
