Lowest Turnover at the Stock Exchange This Year
Ljubljana, 3 March - The week at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was marked by a low turnover and a slight growth in share prices. Over 7,200 deals were closed in the value of SIT 2.65 billion (12.3 million euros), which was the lowest turnover this year. Lot deals accounted for 29 percent of the overall turnover. The share index SBI 20 closed the week at 1798.62 points, up 5.43 points (0.3 percent) from the previous week, the authorised investment companies' index PIX gained 14.05 points (0.95 percent) to stand at 1487.44 on Friday. The free market index IPT increased by 6.91 points (0.47 percent) to 1466.00 points, and the BIO bond index was up 0.23 points (0.21 percent) to close the week at 108.88 points.
