EU Membership Useful for Small Nations, Luxembourg Foreign Minster Says

Ljubljana, 2 April - EU enlargement topped the agenda of Monday's meeting between Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and his Luxembourg counterpart Lydie Polfer, who is paying a one-day official visit to Slovenia. "Luxembourg is in favour of the prompt EU enlargement," Minister Polfer told a joint press conference, and added that EU membership is particularly useful for small countries. The pair also signed a convention to avoid double taxation.
