Swedish Finance Minister Concludes Visit to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 4 April - Co-ordination of economic activities of the EU and EU candidate countries is essential for speeding up the enlargement, Swedish Finance Minister Bosse Ringholm said on the conclusion of his two-day visit to Slovenia on Wednesday. Sweden is to hold a two-day conference of EU finance ministers and their counterparts from 13 candidate countries in Malmoe on 21 April. Ringholm's visit was part of the preparations for the meeting, as Slovenia is to co-ordinate a meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors from candidate countries prior to the conference.
