Agreement on Wine and Spirits Signed by Slovenia and the EU

Ljubljana, 4 April - The Slovene Agriculture Ministry and the European Commission have signed an agreement on wine and spirits, coming into effect on 1 January 2002 as a protocol to the Europe Agreement, Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday. The annual import and export quotas are included in the agreemnet, as well as the protection of brand names.
