U.S. General Robertson Meets Senior Slovene Officials

Ljubljana, 5 April - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Thursday met with General Charles T. Robertson, U.S. Commander of Air Mobility Command, in a bid to discuss commercial co-operation of the U.S. armed forces with Slovenia's Port of Koper for logistic needs. According to Rupel, the American side sees Port of Koper as a potential long-term partner, due to its location and capacities. Slovenia is also interested in close co-operation with the U.S., the Foreign Ministry reported.
