Corruption Trial against Highest-Ranking Slovene State Official Begins Tomorrow
Ljubljana, 11 April - A trial is due to begin on Thursday at the Ljubljana District Court against a former Economics Ministry state secretary who has been charged with corruption. Boris Sustar, the highest-ranking Slovene official ever to be tried for corruption, has been indicted for accepting a bribe and extortion. Economics Minister Tea Petering is expected to take the stand as a witness.
