Government Passes a Strategy on Food Safety

Ljubljana, 12 April - The government passed a strategy on food safety in Slovenia, drafted by the Health and Agriculture Ministries. The strategy, which introduces an efficient supervision in Slovenia, will be sent to the European Commission. The strategy refers to the manner of adoption of the EU-compatible legislation referring to food safety, which includes veterinary regulations, phytosanitary standards, regulations on animal feed and regulations on food.
