Weekly Review of the Slovene Economy from 7 to 13 April

Ljubljana, 15 April - Minister of the Information Society Pavel Gantar suggested to the government on 13 April that Marjan Podobnik be dismissed from the post of chairman of the Telekom Slovenia board. Explaining the move, Gantar said Telekom needed properly experienced top managers who will be able to adjust the company to the situation on the telecommunications market which faces full liberalisation after a systemic telecommunications act was endorsed in Parliament on 10 April.
