Slovene Conservationists Confer Awards for 2000

Ljubljana, 18 April - The Slovene Conservationists' Association conferred on Wednesday the Stele awards for contributions to the preservation and protection of cultural heritage. Dr. Sergej Vriser was conferred the lifetime achievement award, while the annual Stele award for extraordinary achievements in conservationism was conferred to Alenka Kolsek, Svjetlana Kurelac and a local community for the refurbishment of a 16th century church.
