Volksbank - Ljudska banka Records 30 Percent Growth of Balance Sheet Assets in 2000

Ljubljana, 19 April - Volksbank - Ljudska banka, the Slovene branch office of the Austrian bank group Volksbank, recorded an over 30 percent growth of balance sheet assets in 2000, exceeding SIT 31.5 billion (146.1 million euros) at the end of last year, while its total assets amounted to SIT 33.6 billion (155.8 million euros) in the first quarter of 2001. Loans increased by 48 percent and deposits by 13 percent in 2000.
