Gov't Dismisses Telekom Chairman

Ljubljana, 19 April - The Slovene government ended the week-long speculations by taking a decision Thursday to dismiss the Chairman of Telekom Slovenia Marjan Podobnik and two members of Telekom's board, namely Pavel Zakelj and Adolf Spenk. Furthermore, the cabinet appointed incumbent Chairman of Slovene carrier Adria Airways Peter Grasek to the post of acting Chairman of Telekom. It also appointed Darinka Virant and Drago Majcen to the posts of new acting members of the board.
