Budget Debate Still Underway in Parliament

Ljubljana, 20 April - The parliament on Friday convened for a special session focussing on the budget bill. The debate has already progressed through the first stage, in which the framework of incomes and expenditures, as well as the deficit were passed. The debate now focuses on around 70 amendments that have been filed to individual budget items. MPs so far examined three quarters of all amendments filed.
