Slovenia Offers EBRD Co-operation in Investment Activities in the Balkans

London, 23 April - Addressing the regular annual assembly of EBRD governors, Slovene Finance Minister Anton Rop said that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) should further participate in investments in the EU candidate countries. In providing technical assistance, the experience of the more advanced EU candidate countries should be observed, while countries with greater social differences and harsher social situation should be given an adequately larger share of funds, Minister Rop said.
