Changing Borders in SE Europe Is a Bad Alternative, Says Kucan

Ljubljana, 24 April - Despite initial skepticism of the SE Europe Stability Pact, Slovenia has spotted an opportunity to help settling affairs in the region and has approached all tasks very seriously. Alternatives to the establishment and reinforcement of contemporary democratic values, including ideas about changing the borders, are bad alternatives and a bad warranty of peace and stability, President Milan Kucan told Special Stability Pact Co-ordinator Bodo Hombach on Tuesday.
