Societe Generale Owns 96.46 Percent Shares of the SKB Bank

Ljubljana, 25 April - A total of 976 shareholders holding 7,524,380 shares of the Slovene bank SKB responded to the public offer made by the French bank Societe Generale to purchase 7,800,000 SKB shares in a bid to take over Slovenia's largest private bank. Thus the French bank acquired 96.46 percent of all SKB shares by the expiration of the offer.
