Slovene Nation Decided Correctly at Important Crossroads, Says Pahor

Ljubljana, 26 April - Slovenia's independence a decade ago was a turning point in the process of the formation of Slovenes as a modern nation. "For the current generation to witness this, the previous generations had to set down the material and spiritual foundations. The uprising against occupation in the middle of the last century is one of these foundations," Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor said at Friday night's ceremony, held on the even of Resistance Day and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Liberation Front.
