Skier Falls Down Crevasse

Ljubljana, 27 April - A skier fell down a crevasse while skiing down the slopes of the Kanin ski resort in NW Slovenia on Friday. The rescue authorities reported that the skier was skiing outside the designated area. According to information the crevasse is deeper than 30 metres. Rescue teams are currently searching for the skier with the assistance of two helicopters and over 20 men.
