Slovene Agriculture Minister Meets with Counterparts from CEFTA Countries

Sofia, 4 May - The Slovene Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Franci But, attended a meeting of agriculture ministers from countries of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia on Friday, in a bid to discuss issues regarding the EU and EU's BSE measures against CEFTA countries. A common declaration was signed by the ministers at the meeting, in which they protest against the EU categorising the CEFTA countries as a third group countries with potential BSE danger, as no BSE case has been discovered in any of the CEFTA countries, unlike in Germany, also a third group country, Minister But told STA on Friday.
