Publishing House Mladinska Knjiga Successful Last Year

Ljubljana, 14 May - Despite negative trends in the Slovene publishing sector, the Slovene publishing house Mladinska knjiga (MK) last year saw a nine-percent rise in net revenues. According to unaudited information, the company, which holds a 31-percent market share in Slovenia, recorded net sales revenues of SIT 4.9 billion (22.7 milion euros), 88 percent of which were generated from the sale of its own products. Net profits totalled SIT 247 million (1.1 million euros).
