Time Frames for Negotiations Should Be More Binding, Candidate Countries Believe

Bratislava, 28 May - EU candidate countries welcome the Nice Agreement, which has confirmed the Union's enlargement strategy, however a more binding time frame for accession negotiations should be adopted and a broad public support for enlargement achieved. This was said in Bratislava on Monday at the 11th meeting of parliament speakers from candidate countries with the European Parliament Speaker, which was also attended by Borut Pahor, Speaker of the Slovene Parliament.
