FM Rupel Discusses U.S.-Russian Summit with Russian Counterpart
Budapest, 30 May - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel met with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov on Wednesday on the margin of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council meeting in Budapest to discuss preparations for the Bush-Putin summit in Ljubljana. Together with eight counterparts from the Vilnius group of NATO candidates, Rupel also met with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, who confirmed the Alliance's open-door policy.
