Bank of Slovenia Abolishes Restrictions for Foreign Portfolio Investors

Ljubljana, 31 May - The Bank of Slovenia has decided to do away with the system of fiduciary accounts which has applied to foreign investors on the Slovene capital market since February 1997. The new measure which was taken by the Bank of Slovenia council on Tuesday will take effect on 1 July.
