Second Place for Klemencic in the 12th Giro Stage

Montebelluna, 31 May - Slovene cyclist Zoran Klemencic (Vini Caldirola) recorded the best ever Slovene placing in a stage of the Giro d'Italia, grabbing the second place in Thursday's 12th stage between Gradisca and Montebelluna. The winner of the 139-kilometre stage was Italy's Matteo Tosatto (Fassa Bortolo). Another Italian, Gilberto Simoni (Lampre) finished third. Italy's Dario Frigo (Fassa Bortolo) kept his lead in the overall standings.
