Referendum: Strong Opposition to Act Remains As Most Votes Are Counted

Ljubljana, 17 June - A strong majority has voted "no" in today's referendum on the infertility treatment with bio-medical assistance act, show the latest figures from the National Electoral Commission (RVK). With most votes already counted (538,031), opposition to the act stands at 73.7 percent, while support for it stands at 25.04 percent. Another 1.26 percent of the votes cast were invalid.
