Manifestation Against Homophobia to Be Staged in Slovene Capital on Friday

Ljubljana, 4 July - A manifestation against homophobia and all forms of discrimination in Slovenia as well as against the state's passivity in its protection of human rights, is to be staged in the Slovene capital on Friday afternoon, Tatjana Greif, a lesbian activist, told the press on Wednesday. Entitled "A Bypass Past Intolerance - March against Homophobia", the rally, which will begin with a series of cultural events and end up with a march, is organised by the Office for Interventions (UZI), an association of various groups and individual activists.
