Gov't Looks at State Aids, Agriculture Ministry Asked to Prepare Assessment of Effects

Ljubljana, 5 July - In 2000 a total of SIT 83.5 billion (EUR 384 million) worth of state aids was handed out for different purposes. This amount represents a total of 2.07 percent of Slovenia's gross domestic product (GDP), a report on state aids which was adopted by the Slovene government on Thursday, indicates.
