Delo Looks at Road Safety in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 7 July - You will die the way you have lived. So if we Slovenes want to know how we have lived, we have to take a close look at how we die. And Slovene seem to die shamefully brutally and senselessly. On the ropes that we ourselves have tied, on roads that we ourselves have built and in the metal that we ourselves have waxed. It is somewhat ironic and actually morally low to actually even think about an "acceptable" number of deaths on the roads; for example how big a class of school children must be killed by cars for it to be an acceptable number, asks the daily Delo on Saturday.
