European Parliament Resolution on Slovenia Clear of Disputed Amendments

Brussels, 9 July - The European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday confirmed the resolution on Slovenia's preparations for EU membership. Even though Slovenia's economic achievements were assessed as especially positive, the country was also addressed with well-known appeals - to speed up the privatisation of banks and the denationalisation process, and to instigate foreign direct investments.
