Maribor, 14 July - Was this really the last act of the great Olympic dictator Juan Antonio Samaranch, who four days before his 81th birthdays and three days before the expiration of his 21-year long rule wanted to perform the last great act that will be written down in the history of the world sport? The choice of Beijing as the city to stage the 2008 Olympics is a decision that will by all means be a subject of controversial debate in future, the Slovene daily Vecer writes on Saturday.
