Slovenia Hopeful Italy Will Be Consistent in Implementing Minority Protection Act

Ljubljana, 16 July - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Monday received head of the provincial government of Italy's Friuli Venezia Giulia, Renzo Tondo, voicing an expectation that both the Italian and the provincial governments will consistently implement the umbrella act on the protection of the Slovene minority, passed in Italy in February, including the financial obligations, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
