Labour Ministry to Be More Engaged in Employment Policy, Minister Promises

Ljubljana, 17 July - Optimistic unemployment figures stem from a successful employment policy and Slovenia's economic growth, Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski told a press conference on Tuesday. The latest data show that the number of the unemployed in Slovenia finally dropped under 100,000 again after ten years in June, which - measured at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) methodology - means that Slovenia's registered unemployment rate stands at 6.7 percent, Dimovski said.
