CoE Parliamentary Assembly Delegation Visits Macedonia

Skopje, 17 July - A delegation of the political committee for Macedonia of the Council of Europe (CoE) Parliamentary Assembly met with a special EU envoy to Macedonia, Francois Leotard, and other representatives of the international community on Tuesday in Skopje in a bid to discuss efforts for a peaceful solution to the impending civil war. The delegation began its three-day visit to Macedonia today and is headed by the committee's vice-president and chief rapporteur for Macedonia, Slovenia's Roman Jakic, the Slovene Parliament said.
