Three Slovene Nature Conservation Projects Get EU Funds

Brussels, 19 July - The European Commission selected three Slovene nature conservation projects on Thursday that will receive funding under the LIFE-Nature program in 2000-2001. A total of 94 projects proposed by EU member states and candidate countries have been selected whose costs are estimated at 152 million euros. The EU will back the projects with 79.5 million euros.
