Import Growth Slowly Catching up Export Growth

Ljubljana, 21 July - The gap between exports and imports is diminishing, show the external trade movements of the first five months of this year. However, exports are still growing faster than imports, which resulted in a trade deficit of US$ 122 million in May, which was by US$ 23.2 million lower than that in May 2000.
