Police Arrest Suspected Kidnapper

Ljubljana, 23 July - After years of investigation, Slovene police on Friday apprehended a man who is suspected of kidnapping his son Jurij in 1997. The breakthrough came after police officers reviewed hotel registrations and noticed that a person sought by the police had checked into a mountain cottage near Kranjska Gora, NW Slovenia. It turned out to be Marko Subic, using a false name, together with Jurij, who has already been returned to his mother.
