Slovenia's Hauptman Grabs Bronze at Cycling World Championships in Lisbon

Lisbon, 14 October - Slovene cyclist Andrej Hauptman achieved the greatest success in Slovene cycling history, as he went on to win bronze at the World Road Cycling Championships in Lisbon on Sunday. Hauptman, a member of the Italian Vini Caldirola team, was only beaten in the final sprint by Spain's Oscar Freire and Italy's Paolo Bettini.
