Movement for the People Questions Sell-off of NKBM in Letter to Finance Minister

Ljubljana, 25 October - The Maribor-based Movement for the People on Thursday sent a public letter to Finance Minister Anton Rop, expressing its concern over Rop's statements and decision to sell the government's majority stake in the second largest Slovene bank Nova Kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM). The movement also warns about findings of numerous Slovene economists that the selling of NKBM would not be of any profit and might even be harmful, is written in the letter.
