Slovene Food Virtually Free of Pesticides
Ljubljana, 25 October - The presence of pesticides in Slovene foods and agricultural products is extremely low, according to the Agriculture Ministry, which analysed 134 plant samples in 2000, 20 samples of milk and 150 samples of agricultural products of plant origin, establishing an excessive presence of pesticides only in a sample of cabbage and one sample of apples.
