Countries of SE Europe Should be Offered a European Perspective, Says PM

Bled, 25 October - Multilateral alliances are gaining rather than loosing their importance in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the U.S., said the Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Thursday afternoon at Bled, where he opened the annual gathering of most prominent business and government officials from Central and SE Europe, called the Regional Business Meeting Point. Slovenia is shortly before entering the EU, while it is also making efforts to become a NATO member, pointed out Drnovsek, who believes that the countries of SE Europe should also be offered an opportunity, a European perspective.
