AIS: Prevent Unconditional Flow of Weapons to Afghanistan's Warring Parties

Ljubljana, 29 October - Amnesty International Slovenia (AIS) addressed a letter to a number of foreign missions in Slovenia and several Slovene officials, calling for measures to be taken in a bid to prevent the unconditional flow of weapons and other military equipment and expertise to warring parties in Afghanistan. The uncontrolled supply of weapons, AIS said on Monday, could lead to further human rights abuses and war crimes.
